Current Fave – Blazers & Basics

At the moment my “go-to” outfit is a Blazer & Basics outfit. I will wear Jeans, with a cute or casual top and throw on a blazer to round off the look.

The reason why I love this type of outfit is it looks kinda sophisticated and fun if you wear a graphic T under the blazer. Also you can wear various types of shoes with it, dress it up with a pair of pump heels or wear sneakers with it, both works perfectly!

I feel that this is the perfect smart casual outfit and it’s always a winner, when in doubt try this combo!

Below I have a few examples of types of blazers and tops I would wear together. As you can see the Blazers are various colours and the tops range from more formal tops to graphic T’s. You can mix and match various blazers with different tops to see what works for you.

Cauliflower Mini Pizzas

As most of you have seen Banting has become a foodie buzzword the past year with more and more people cutting down on carbs and eating more fats. I’ve realised that the most popular substitute for carbs seem to be Cauliflower and even though I don’t Bant, I thought I would try out a Cauliflower Base pizza. I really loved it and I make it quite a lot, as I loveeeee Pizza, literally, if I could eat only one thing for the rest of my life it would be Pizza.

The Recipe is super easy and also very yummy, as a self-proclaimed Pizza expert I can vouch this is really a yummy “healthier alternative” to takeout Pizza.

1 Clothing Item // 2 Ways to wear it

Hey guys, so the basic grey t-shirt is a great and very versatile clothing item to have, personally I’m a huge fan! Below I did another post on how to wear 1 clothing item 2 ways.

I really love it when I can use a clothing item for a dressed down look and also for a more dressed up look, cause sometimes I just want to be casual and chilled and sometimes I feel like dressing up and looking more sophisticated. And obviously it depends on where you are heading.

So the Look on the left is an edgy chilled look, Ripped black jeans, the Grey t-shirt with a furry Parka scarf and some vans. To round off this look I’ll add some Dark red or Plum lipstick to give this look some extra edge.
The Look on the Right is a bit of a more dressed up look, I added a nice jacked, Pretty skirt, tucked in the t-shirt, with a statement necklace, for some glam and cute black pumps.

I would say that my grey T-shirt is one of my favorite clothing items in my cupboard, it’s such a basic clothing piece but I just love it!!

Current Fave – Dark Lipsticks

I’ve always been a Lipstick fan, I have a small collection of my own.. it keeps on growing and I have colours that range from Nude to Dark Red & Plum.

Currently I love a darker lipstick colour, it’s just so edgy and it’s such a confidence booster.. I feel a little bit Badass when I wear a very dark lipstick and I love it. Don’t be scared to try this edgy trend, at first you might think “Oh Gosh”, but once you get used to it you’ll be rocking the dark lipstick on a daily basis.

Current Fave – Black & White Stripes

Ok truth be told this has always been a favourite of mine. Some people hate Black & White stripes some, like me, love them. But also I am not really a fan of Vertical stripes, horizontal for the win!

       Photo Via Pinterest

In or out of fashion I will always have a B&W striped T-shirt in my wardrobe. It matches most clothes and also can be dressed up or down. The whole “Horizontal stripes makes you look fat” thing – I don’t believe it, just wear it with confidence no matter what shape or size and I promise you will look FAB!!

Nougat Stuffed Chocolate Cupcakes

Happy Spring Lovelies!!! This is my first post in the new season and I thought I’d make it a goodie…
It’s been a while since my last recipe, but I promise this is a really good one and worth the wait… I found a chocolate cake recipe on another blog, Add a Pinch, and it looked AMAZING so I thought I would change it a bit and bake cupcakes instead of a cake.

Ultimate Vacation Packing List

So for a while now I’ve been considering doing an ultimate Vacation Packing list and now here it is.. I did it.. Whoop.. I was always that person that packed for all “what-if” situations and end up taking almost all the clothes I own with me on holiday…

The packing list below is based on what I’ve learned when I went to Europe in 2008 and 2013. The first time I went to Europe I went in winter and I packed wayyyyyy too much, I think my bag was about 30kg when I went. Carrying around a massive and heavy bag up and down Underground stairways, on and off trains and up the stairs in a Hostel is not fun.. My second time going to Europe I went in Spring so the weather varied in the different Countries so I had to pack for both warm and cold weather conditions and… Contiki has a 20kg bag weight restriction – so I panicked, but I quickly learned that if you plan your outfits you can go very far with very few items..

That is what I did here, planned outfits for each day.. So the Packing list would be perfect for a +- 20 day Vacation through Europe in either Spring or Autumn (I say Europe as I am more familiar with the weather there and I haven’t been to another Country Yet – and I try to write about what I know).
